Pretence, untold

Of all the cruel pretensions you could choose to place upon my trembling lover's lips, upon this tender kiss of eternal light, of a night, unending in stories of nightmares, as yet untold, this sweet pretense of bitter fallacy is all but a disguise you shall hide behind for all eternity.
This bittersweet pretense of a love, unsold, ever golden upon my fleeting lover's breathe, of all the pretensions you could have chosen, plucked from the eternal air of life's loves and lies, ever more, of all the pretensions, you have chosen this, this sweet lie of truth unknown, to break my tender aching heart with.
This cruel fallacy of a love un-lived, you have broken my heart, cruel boy of the eternal night, yes, you, of all the men upon this cherished, trembling, churning earth, have broken my bloodied heart, forever more. As, as ever, it is ever yours.
