New favourite film is most definitely Silk Stockings, starring Fred Astaire, filmed in 1957. The cast, crew, choreography and scripting is fantastic, as is the soundtrack, the numbers, the lyrics and general splendour of such a tremendous production. Kudos.
Also, the Russian Commissar, beautiful as ever, was so impeccably dressed throughout I was left breathless, lost for any form of articulate word but WOW. So fabulous, chic and dainty. Just how every Russian woman, such as myself included, should look, dress and hold herself.
Ultimate envy for her wardrobe, particularly the mustard/camel number with the ever-spinning skirt, and the future wedding dress of mine. Just spectacular.
