Put your trust in me, you're not gonna die alone

Well prove to me,
I'm not gonna die alone.
Put your arm round my collar bone
Open the door.

Don't lie to me
If you're puttin' the dog to sleep.
That pet you just couldn't keep
And couldn't afford.

Well prove to me,
I'm not gonna die alone.
Unstitch that shit I've sewn,
To close up the hole that tore through my skin.

Well my trust in you
Is a dog with a broken leg,
Tendons to torn to fix,
And you let me back in

You said
I can't prove to you
You're not gonna die alone,
But trust me to take you home
and clean up that blood all over your paws.

You can't keep running out.
Kicking yourself off the bed,
Kicking yourself in the head,
Because, you're kiciking me too.

Put your trust in me,
I'm not gonna die alone.
Put your trust in me,
I'm not gonna die alone.
I don't think so.

Put your trust in me,
I'm not gonna die alone.
Put your trust in me,
I'm not gonna die alone,
I don't think so.

Home is where I want to be, but I guess I'm already there

I guess that this must be the place?

Patten's sweet suggestive vocal contributions compliment Mills' luscious, richly textured vocal perfectly. I think I'm in love with this.
Such a tremendous cover of one of my favourite all time songs beats even this. Sorry baby boys, (Brooklyn will have to wait...).

Belong

Despite a fair amount of time's break from producing and publicizing their music, New York mess-heads, Bear Hands, have once again made some really under-rated, under-recognized tracks that I'm all of a sudden, wildly in love with.
The Old Maid and I met them a couple of years back, and were met with pizza and sly passes despite having boyfriends. Though this was hilarious, and the gig tremendously head-bangin', they have never been met with a great deal of positive criticism that I feel they deserve.
Come back to the UK babies, I miss you, and could totally hook you up with some ketamine this time...

Can't stick it

I've got so bad with the aches and the blues.
It's holding me back when I'm in the mood.
The successful part of me has died several times.
And still, I dance for you.
