Where does it lead to?

I am unbelievably excited about Cold War Kids' forthcoming fourth studio album. It's lead single, Miracle Mile, is just the kind of energetic jumble of noise and angst that I fell in love with way back in 2006. Seriously good track and a taste of what's to come. Robbers and Cowards take two?

Colour Fade

Worth a listen on this fine summers afternoon. Not listened to it all yet, but am intrigued and hopeful that it's worth my while. Something about the vocal reminds me of my beloved Bear Hands of Brooklyn. Particularly, Colour Fade's nice.

SCREAMS

Is it bad that this level of band-related mania makes total sense to me? I boody love One Direction.

Reckless Abandon

This is the best version of this track I've ever come across. Everything about it is wonderfully lovely and sweet.

Sleepy Head

Perfect thing to wake up from a nap from. And they're having so much fun making these noises. I've fallen in love all over again.

Allured

So, they're neglectful of future press and exposure and compliments, at least, as far as I'm concerned, but this video (Elephant - Allured) is something I quite like, mainly because the song's a good'n. Enjoy

Toothpaste Kisses

Dedicated especially for my leggy lady (and of course, to Little Miss Birthday Brat - Penny Lainne).

All my love, forever ever more.

Into the wild, wild night

I know that a certain bratty little lady love of mine, Hatty, of all the people (whowouldathoughtit?) loves this songs. I think I do too. Very cute.

Awww, little voley...

Fearne Cotton strikes again

Dear me, I really cannot tell these days.
Is this majorly offensive, or kinda cute?

I think it's cute, but that might just be because I think he sounds like an elongated vole on speed and laughing gas. HA.
And using her vocals certainly raises the tone. Shame he has never been able to sing in tune though...

Elvis, where are you when I need you most?

Throughthenight

Night terrors.
these cold nightmares, they make her worse for wear
lost in the dark, she's got a heavy heart.
and when she waits in her fragile state, well, she calls my name
hoping that i'll keep her safe.

This video is so fucking hot.
